One on One X 3



Set Up: 3 lines of offensive players, 2 in the corners and 1 line on the blue line near the boards, one line of defensive players at the blue line in the middle of the ice, all lines have pucks

Description: D starts in front of the net, F1 attacks the net with the puck by skating around the top of the circle while D plays the 1 on 1
On coach's whistle that 1 on 1 is finished and F2 attack
s the net while the same D plays the second 1 on 1
On coach's whistle F3 attacks the net and the D plays the third 1 on 1, on coach’s whistle F3 and D battle for positioning while the next D shoots from the point
After the shot reaches the net, the D that shot the puck gets to the slot area to continue the drill

Details: D must close gap on all 1 on 1’s without losing defensive positioning, D should work on approaching F’s at proper angles to force F’s away from the net, D should be using stick to help direct opposing F
F’s should use creativity and dekes to create scoring chances
